Please phone Robyn for a quote. My fees are worked out by the number of guests to be catered for, how long you need and location of the event. I Charge by the hour

What products do you use?
|
|
I use only use products approved for use on the skin. Brands I recomend and use are Wolfe, Mehron, Facepaints Australia, Kryolan, Grimas and Diamond FX. I do not use craft glitters or glue, all products are FDA compliant.
Paints are waterbased cosmetic formula that can easily be removed with water, or baby wipes.

How much notice do you need for bookings?
|
|
The earlier you book the more likely I am available for your special event. To avoid dissapointments and guarantee your booking I accept payment before the event. If you need last minute bookings Please call me on 0428 836 927 or sms your contact details and I will get back to you ASAP. From October till January all bookings need a deposit paid as this is the Christmas party time, for workplace parties, Schools and Family. I cannot guarantee I will be available unless your booking is secured.
You can Pay using PayPal or Direct Deposit. Let me know what suits you best when booking.

How can I work out how long I need to book you?
|
|
I average about 3-5 minutes per face, depending upon the complexity of the design chosen. Temporary Tattoos average about 2-3 minutes each and crazy hair can take from 10 minutes per child,
If your event has over 100 attending I suggest you book 2 artists or more.

How do I book you?
|
|
This is the easy bit!
Just give me a phone call on 0428836927 or email me robyns@airnet.com.au or use the contact me form.
I will need your name, Address of event, contact number for the day, time and date of event.
After confirmation I will email you an invoice, booking form, which includes all the details of your booking. Your booking will be held for 4 days before a deposit is required to secure the date.
Please read through the booking form and confirm all the details are correct.
Receipt of your deposit will be taken as confirmation that all details on the booking form are correct. I will phone you a few days before the booking to touch base and then again on the day of the booking if needed.

What do I need to do so my event is successful?
|
|
Relax and enjoy your day. I supply my own equipment, table chair, water etc. You just need to have an area available for me to paint. If the event is outdoors or for 4 hours or longer I can supply a 3X3 marquee. For the comfort of your guests a shaded and sheltered area is preferred.
It will be wonderful if you can ensure I have a close park to where your event is held, to make my arrival and exit easier with the equipment I bring.

What ages or restrictions are there in painting?
|
|
I will paint anyone with skin, no matter what the age! The only restrictions I have is if the person can not tell me they want to be painted or they appear frighten or upset then I will not paint them. It is lovely to see the littlies painted, but I refuse to paint them if they are crying or can not sit still or follow instructions. I would much prefer that they have a happy memory of painting than be scared or traumatised by a stranger painting them.
I will give a small child a sticker or stamp if they do not want facepaints on their skin.
I do not paint anyone who is obviously unwell, showing signs of a fever, rashes, open sores or wounds. I also do not paint people with sore eyes. This is due to my health policy and to keep everyone healthy who is within my care.

What do we do if we have allergies?
|
|
If you or your child suffer from allergies, I can offer a patch test on the inside of your elbow with the paint and if there is no reaction within 20 mins then I am willing to paint under your advisement.
If you are unsure or have any concerns, please let me know. It is always better to be safe than sorry.
All products I use are cosmetic grade and especially made designed for use on the skin. So if you or your child have applied a lippy or powder/eyeshadow and had no problems then I am sure you will have no worries.

How do I pay you?
|
|
Deposits are required within 4 days of booking to confirm your dates.
Remainder is due on or prior to the day of your event
I have a number of payment options available.
*Cash on the day (NB deposits can not be paid in cash) Before Setting up.
*Money Order
*Personal Cheque (must be received 7 days prior to booking made out to Robyn Stevens and your details on the back)
*Direct Deposit into Commonwealth bank account (must be made no less than 2 working days prior to booking date) These details will be given when invoice/booking form or PayPal request is sent to your email address.

How far will you travel and what charges?
|
|
I am willing to travel within South Australia, I have worked in other states of Australia, but do pass on bookings to my Face painting friends.
A rough estimate on travel charges is $1 per km after the first 20km
With costs of petrol going up and car expenses, I will always try and give you a good deal, but pricing can change without notice.
Always give me a call if you need to know before you confirm your bookings.
